Special Session Organizers
Objectives and topics
The GDAIHS Special Session aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to discuss advances in graph-based data mining and analytics with a strong focus on applications in intelligent healthcare systems. As healthcare data becomes increasingly complex, heterogeneous, and interconnected, graph-based approaches offer powerful means to model relationships between patients, diseases, treatments, and biomedical entities.
This special session will highlight innovative methodologies, algorithms, and frameworks that integrate data mining, graph theory, and analytics to address pressing challenges in healthcare, such as disease prediction, risk assessment, personalized treatment, and medical knowledge discovery. Participants are encouraged to share novel ideas, practical solutions, and interdisciplinary perspectives that contribute to state-of-the-art intelligent healthcare systems and beyond.
The scope of this special session includes, but is not limited to the following topics:
- Data Mining and Pattern Discovery
- Graph-based Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery
- Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) and Deep Learning Models
- Knowledge Graph Construction and Reasoning
- Big Data Analytics and Scalable Graph Processing
- Multimodal Data Integration and Analytics
- Explainable AI and Interpretable Models
- Privacy-preserving and Secure Data Mining
- Graph-based Analytics for Intelligent Healthcare Systems
- Applications in Personalized Medicine and Epidemiology
