Title
Towards organically working AI

Abstract
Starting from the philosophical inspirations from Western countries, Central Europe, and the Far East, I'd like to go through the current situation in politics, business, science, and education, considering AI. What we do, what we don't do, and what we should think about in the near future. This is, of course, a personal view on that matter; however, it might be a good start for the discussion and give an insight into the current trends in technology and science, going beyond all that we imagined before 2017, when we did not know that all we lacked is attention.

Biodata
Aleksander Byrski obtained his Ph.D. in 2007 and D.Sc. (habilitation) in 2013 at AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow. He works at the Faculty of Computer Science, AGH University of Krakow as a full professor, one of the most renown technical universities in Poland. His research concerns mostly nature-inspired computing, focusing on metaheuristics for difficult problems, in particular agent-based ones. He works on developing novel computing methods, keeping in mind that the metaphor cannot dominate the reason. He teaches full courses on computational intelligence, introduction to artificial intelligence, and several shorter ones. He is involved in many organizational activities at his University and outside. Aleksander Byrski has received various awards for his research such as the best paper award at ICAISC 2005, and an award of Bronze Medal for Long Time Service from the President of Poland.
