Main track

The primary submission target for authors seeking to present at ACIIDS 2027 is the main track. It encompasses a wide range of topics, including Intelligent Information Systems, Intelligent Database Systems, and related Tools and Applications, that are within the conference's scope. All papers will undergo a rigorous metareview process, with the international program committee reviewing and selecting them for publication and presentation.

Call for Special Sessions, Workshops, and Tutorials

The ACIIDS 2027 Organizing Committee invites proposals for Special Sessions, Workshops, and Tutorials to be held during the conference in Bali, Indonesia.

These dedicated tracks provide researchers with a focused forum to explore highly specialized sub-disciplines, present cutting-edge work, and foster interaction among a targeted community of experts.

  • Special Sessions and Workshops consist of a thematic grouping of papers within a specific sub-discipline of intelligent information and database systems.

  • Tutorials are designed to present emerging trends, novel methodologies, and new research opportunities within the broader scope of the conference.

Proposal Requirements

If you are interested in organizing a track, please submit a proposal containing the following information:

  • Title and acronym of the session, workshop, or tutorial

  • Brief profiles of the organizers

  • General description of the scope and objectives

  • List of specific topics of interest

  • Proposed Board of Reviewers (to be invited by the organizers)

Please submit your proposal directly through our online form (https://forms.gle/d4CyFn1DgWoodBCh8).

If you have any questions regarding the process prior to submission, please contact the Special Session Chairs:

  • Prof. Paweł Sitek (Kielce University of Technology, Poland)

  • Dr. Krystian Wojtkiewicz (Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland)

Review Process and Publication

To ensure the highest scientific quality across the entire conference, we apply the same rigorous standards to all accepted papers.

  • All Special Sessions and the Doctoral Track will be centralized as individual tracks within the main ACIIDS submission and reviewing system.

  • The review process is highly rigorous. Organizers are responsible for managing the first phase by gathering evaluations from their invited reviewers. In the second phase, all submissions and reviews undergo a comprehensive re-evaluation by the ACIIDS Meta-reviewing Committee.

  • While Session Organizers lead the initial review, the final decision regarding paper acceptance is made by the ACIIDS Program Committee. This guarantees that Special Session papers are held to the exact same standard of excellence as Main Track papers.

  • Accepted papers will be published alongside the main conference proceedings in a bound volume by Springer-Verlag.

Organizer Responsibilities

If your proposal is accepted, you will be taking on an important leadership role within the conference. Organizers are responsible for:

  • Preparing and maintaining a dedicated webpage for their specific session or workshop.

  • Actively advertising and promoting the track (and the broader conference) to their professional networks to attract high-quality submissions.

  • Managing the initial peer-review phase using their proposed Board of Reviewers.
