Objectives and topics
Natural Language Processing (NLP) stands as a significant challenge in computational linguistics, primarily for languages with rich grammatical structure, intricate morphology, or orthographic ambiguity. Additionally, the vast array of language dialects, varying significantly from each other, amplifies these challenges. This multifaceted nature of such languages makes the NLP tasks exceptionally intricate and calls for specialized and efficient methodologies. Recently, deep learning approaches have garnered attention due to their high-performance benchmarks across many NLP tasks. Their increasing relevance and applicability in NLP have led to increased interest in academic and industrial communities.
