Objectives and topics
Following the success of the previous DMPI sessions focused on Industry 4.0 and Air Pollution Prevention, we strive to promote the most ambitious and innovative research approaches aiming to introduce cities of the future.
Our future is becoming the present at a breakneck pace. Unimaginable solutions that were dreams described by fantasists a century ago are now our everyday reality. These solutions apply equally to traditional technologies and IT solutions. the latter are particularly important because they concern an area new to everyone, in which experience and knowledge are measured in decades at most, not centuries or millennia. The latter also has the most significant impact on changes in the environment of large cities of the future.
This session is devoted to these issues, both from the point of view of new solutions and examining the impact of changes introduced by humans on the environment. We welcome submissions that point to new solutions, technologies, and approaches, as well as those that analyze, recognize, or process data regarding cities, society, or the environment.
The scope of the session includes but is not limited to the following groups of topics:
- DATA ANALYSIS
- cognitive methods
- data analysis
- data-driven process optimization
- data engineering: technologies and applications
- data mining
- data science
- machine learning
- prediction models
- predictive data analysis
- signal processing
- stochastic methods
- IT SYSTEMS ARCHITECTURE
- adaptive systems
- business process modeling
- cognitive systems
- data and database metamodels
- data modeling: tools and applications
- human-system interaction
- intelligent agents
- knowledge engineering: tools and applications
- knowledge-based systems
- modeling languages
- multi-agent systems
- ontology engineering
