Objectives and topics

Low resource languages problem is one of the important problems of natural languages processing. This branch incudes speech recognition and languages processing. A small amount of linguistic resources of some languages is an obstacle to application of existing techniques for solving speech and languages problems, and requires adaptation and revision of them, or creation of new linguistics resources. The LRLSTP 2023 Special Session at the 15th Asian Conference on Intelligent Information and Database Systems (ACIIDS 2023) is devoted to discussing solutions to speech and languages processing problems for the low resource languages. We want to offer an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to identify new promising research directions as well as to publish recent advances in this area. The scope of the LRLSTP 2023 includes, but is not limited to the following topics:
