Objectives and topics
Big data technology improves decision-making capabilities in several fields such as security, employment, crime-control, insurance, health care, natural disaster, and resource management. Big data involves the features of 8V (velocity, volume, value, variety, veracity, validity, volatility, visualization). Currently, Big data obtained high implications during the COVID-19 pandemic for removing and mitigating the negative impact of the disease and proposing medical treatments. However, Big data experience a challenge due to privacy preservation. Therefore, this special session aims is to invite high-quality original and novel submissions on the Big data Privacy-preserving models, Privacy-preservation concerns on Big data technology, Identity-based Big data privacy, the impact of Big data on COVID-19, and Privacy-preservation of Big data storage on the Cloud servers. Additionally, the emphasis will also be on the several Big data industry-driven applications. This special session will provide an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to identify new promising research directions to publish recent advances in the area of Big data privacy preservation. The scope of the PPiBDA 2022 includes, but is not limited to following topics:
- Big Data Privacy-preserving models (e.g. K-anonymity, T-closeness, L-diversity, and ?-presence, etc.)
- Big Data privacy-preservation models
- Big Data Publishing Differential privacy
- Big Data privacy-preservation for support of Legal measures and industry specifications
- Integration of Big Data and the IoT
- Big Data principles for machine intelligence
- Emerging standards for Big Data Privacy-preservation
