Objectives and topics

The speed of development and change of cyberspace in the last 3-5 years has amazed the imagination of not only inexperienced users, but also venerable specialists in the field of information technology and information security. There is an exponential development not even of the volume of processed data, the number of devices or applications/services connected to the Internet, but also of the concepts and technologies themselves, and the comprehensive digitalization and the transition of most businesses to online in connection with the pandemic has only accelerated this trend.

Classical deviation analysis systems are built, as a rule, on some rules set in advance by operators: for example, exceeding the volume of specific traffic, a certain number of unsuccessful authentication attempts, and a certain number of consecutive triggers of information security. Systems based on artificial intelligence will be able to make automated decisions and help security personnel make faster and more effective decisions about attacks or anomalies.

We would like to offer an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to identify new promising research directions as well as to publish recent advances in this area. The scope of the AIIS 2022 includes, but is not limited to the following topics:

All the special sessions and satellite workshops are centralized as tracks in the same conference management system as the regular papers. Therefore, to submit a paper please activate the following link and select the track: AIIS 2022: Special Session on Artificial Intelligence in Information Security.

Authors are invited to submit original previously unpublished research papers written in English, of up to 13 pages, strictly following the LNCS/LNAI format guidelines. Authors can download the Latex (recommended) or Word templates available at Springer's web site. Submissions not following the format guidelines will be rejected without review. All accepted papers must be presented by one of the authors who must register for the conference and pay the fee. The conference proceedings will be published by Springer in the prestigious series LNCS/LNAI (indexed by ISI CPCI-S, included in ISI Web of Science, EI, ACM Digital Library, dblp, Google Scholar, Scopus, etc.).
